Has anyone else noticed that there's less choice on the menu now than there was a month ago? Solo has disappeared from the list of soft drink options, so now it's Coke, Diet Coke or Schweppes Lemonade. This is a pretty poor choice in my opinion.

Also the vege wrap is gone, not sure if it has been replaced by the ham & cheese wrap or if it has just disappeared.

+1 Virgin Blue the menu needs a relaunch, some innovation would'nt go astray - QF keeps cutting back on their food this is a good opportunity for DJ.

I recently flew 3K and was very impressed with their onboard menu.

Some areas to target:

-improve coffee
-add savoury hot choices (pastries)
-add low carb beer
-change wine selection to 'drinkable'

Odd that they have products from both Coca-cola ad Schweppes, normally it’s only one. Perhaps they’re heading for Coca-cola?

Maybe. I think having only one option for non-cola drinkers such as myself is pretty poor.

On the plus side, I think I'm up to four consecutive flights with free Live2Air for one reason or another.

It's not odd at all.... Infact all the major airlines here have dual supply agreements with Pepsi/Schweppes and Coke.

I’ll chalk that up to never asking for the other products then, but I’ve never noticed, and I always thought in the past the companies generally had exclusive deals with different companies, sort of like Maccas/HJ’s. Only carry one brand, get a better deal?

They've also taken off the nice Brookfarm macadamia muesli and replaced it with a muesli bar. The bar is nice, but nothing beats the cereal on a morning flight.

The reduced beer options concern me a little. To offer only VB and Crown in this age of "lighter" options seems a bit of an odd choice, especially for a forward thinking company. One of my many "DJ over QF" points was the ability to have a Pure Blonde onboard. It's a shame to lose it.
