Surely this is good news for all you RTW'ers.

Effective 1 September 2016, Qantas will remove its fuel surcharge (YQ) from ex Australiaoneworld fares:

oneworld Explorer
• Global Explorer
oneworld Circle Trip Explorer
oneworld Circle Pacific
oneworld Circle Asia & South West Pacific
oneworld Circle Pacific

As a result of this change travel agents will notice a reduction in the price of these all-inclusive fares.

.

In the T&C when you booked, of course no refund, same with CC fees. Would you expect a bill if fares/fuel charges increase again

Wow-that suddenly makes QF points more valuable (if you can find availability)

EDIT: Doh!-confusing it with the award

As far as I can tell this is only applicable to commercial oneworld fares (circle and round the world products) ... Not award flights.
