Hi everyone,

Rental Rewards fees seem to have changed for VISA/Mastercard (I've search previous threads):

Applicable fees (all incl. GST): 1.1% of the transaction value and $2.00 per transaction. A $5.00 monthly service fee, which is processed quarterly

So I've got the Woolworths 1 point for $1 spend card. The question is is it worth paying 1.1% for the points?

i.e. my rent is $500per week. If I pay it monthly, is it worth paying $30 for 2200 points?

Depends what you are going to redeem them for.

I value QFF points at $20/1000, so that 2200 points is worth $44.00 to me. I probably wouldn't pay $30 for them, it's not a great rate.

By comparison, I got 16,000 for $89 with the woolies credit card, and 50,000 for $299 with the citibank card.

I wouldn't say it's worth it, unless it's also more convenient to pay on credit. Save the money for other points earning opportunities (credit cards, insurances and the like).
