I'm sure this can't be done, but my sc's expire at the end of august, I haven't reached silver but they have already sent out my new card (was only 10sc's short), and they say that next review is august 2011. So I have about 75 sc's worth of flights to go this month, which will be all for nought apart from lifetime status, any chance you can ask for your year to be reset a month early?

I suspect the answer is 'NO' as you suggest. Otherwise they would be continually plagued by people in similar situations.

You could however ask and report back to us.

I would suggest you look at that 75 scs of flying and see how you can turn it into 85 SC's before the end of the month, advance seat selection and J check in could be worth more than the amount it costs to reroute a flight.

There was a similar post not long ago asking the same thing.

I suspect they won't do it, i'm guessing your anniversary date is locked in and can't be changed.

I have a feeling the OP was 10SC short when they were sent the new silver card so the extra 75SC as he mentions is just for lifetime accrual or did I read wrong here. I am sure they sent a new silver card and did not bump him down to NB a month early, I hope not.

I doubt they will restart the year. I obtained PG in record time this year with 4 months left and woudl have loved to restart the year them but alas no cigar

Re-reading the OP it does sound like they have been comp'd, in which case it would be a waste to reroute!
