Hi there

My husband and I recently flew Asiana airlines from Sydney to SFO via Seoul/Incheon and then JFK to Sydney again via Seoul. We usually fly VA domestically and only travel internationally every couple of years. I didn't do my research well before we left, or I would have set us up with Krisflyer accounts and had the Krisflyer numbers attached to our fares originally.

Once I got home I realised that I could have done that and then transferred the points to VA.

I have read info on the Krisflyer website regarding retro claims for partner airlines, but it doesn't say if you can make claims if you only joined Krisflyer after the flights took place.

We flew out Dec 12 and then back to Australia Jan 11.

Does anyone have any experience? If so what is the timeframe?

Thanks very much!
