hello all, after successfully booked reward seats to europe for our holiday next september, I’m wondering if anyone can give me some guidance as I need to to book my return BClass reward seats back to Australia (Perth) from europe for October next year. What cities in europe would be the best to look from on the qantas website? London? Paris? Amsterdam? Helsinki? to maybe another hub in asia then maybe a flight into australia perth? My last port is Oslo Norway but can get a flight to any city to start our return. Im unsure who flies from where in europe back to somewhere close to AUS. TIA

Paris or Amsterdam (via the Air France / KLM partnership) or Finnair via Helsinki to Singapore often has good availability. Finding QF via LHR or FCO direct is near impossible. Otherwise anywhere Emirates flies out of will get you back to Perth via Dubai (just look out for those eye watering surcharges!!) Or Qatar often has good last minute availability including First!

We flew KLM CR J in September from Amsterdam to HKG, gives you the option of QF or CX from there.
KLM planes on that route are 777, but quite liked the space and don't mind 2-2-2 if travelling as a couple. Thought their cabin service was excellent.

Also fly to KL and BKK (think on 787, but I happy to be corrected on that)
.

For premium seats, avoid UK airports, as their APD can be very high.
Get the Chunnel train to Paris, then see about if you can get seats with EK from CDG to DXB then PER.
It would depend on what seats EK has released to QF tho, and with SG, chances of getting seats are a bit better than those below that status.
For QF's own plane, you would need to get to FCO, and then direct with the 787 to PER, this would avoid the chances of EK not releasing seats to QF, as the flight would be with QF itself.
