Review Date & Eligible Sectors

Probably an obvious question but I've never fallen down the mountain since climbing up from red and can't find an obvious answer here. Do your eligible sectors reset to 0 at your review date, or do they expire 12 months after the flight is taken?

When attaining status it is based on eligible sectors flown in the previous 365 days.

For renewal it is based on attain/review date to next review date.
