Quick question. If I can see flights on the AA site which are available using AA rewards points, but they are not appearing on the QFF site, is it possible to book them through the call centre? (QFF do not display flights from Uruguay)

Unlikely.

Airlines often make more seats available to their own members than they do for members of partner airlines.

Also I believe only a certain category of AA rewards flights are the type you can book with QF points. I can't recall the type off-hand, but someone else may remember.

Use the multi city search and see if you book a multi sector itinerary with the city shown.

AA have dynamic awards, but OW/partner awards are fixed. If it matches the set mileage shown here than QF may have access. That said, it's not guaranteed that they have the same access.

AA saver awards. But AAdvantage have less of them now, with the AA dynamic awards.

Nope. Likely phantoms. Historically quite common.
