Trying to book reward economy seat which is 7,800 points.

There are 2 options offered - spend 7,800 points + $34.39

OR

7,800 points + 5,900 points.

Although the first option is mentioned, I can't actually select it when booking. Anyone else noticed this?

You get to choose whether to waste point on fees and taxes (hint - dont!) later in the booking process.

Unfortunately the option is never actually offered.

It does appear to be a bug on the website. It rejects me on the basis that I don't have the total 13,700 points *even though* I am selecting the 7,800 + cash option.

Ahh... I have had that happen too.

I usually log out and login again during the booking process rather than before it.

That seems to resolve it for me.

Its bloody annoying when you can clearly see that you have enough points but cant advance because the computer says No!
