Is there a frequent flyer programe which offers reward seats on all flights, apart from the Quantas "free seats" which offers seats on any flights at a ridiculous rate of points required?

NZ's Airpoints program treats your Airpoint Dollars.. ("Airbucks") as cash for the purpose of booking flights...

IMO that is not good value either given earn/burn ratios...

Interestingly there are also some "Discount Biz" redemptions theoretically available to elites (and Koru members) which are much better value... BUT.. and yes - you guessed it- they are very tightly capacity controlled.... I've never been able to get one that's for sure! (Admittedly I have only tried the most popular routes...;))

I suspect ANY program with "any seat" availability will also have very high redemption "costs"....

Cynical ain't I?

Krisflyer's Full/Standard awards book into revenue classes on SQ, and require lots more miles.

Senator members of Miles and More can access Senator Premium Awards which book into revenue classes on the M+M group of airlines and require twice the miles.

Starwood Preferred Guest's SPG Flights program allows the redemption of Starpoints on flights. Redemptions book directly into revenue classes, with amount of Starpoints required dependent on the commercial cost of ticket desired.

There might be a few more examples...

An unofficial example I can think of is Diamond members of Cathay Pacific's Marco Polo Club program - who, anecdotally, have the unwritten perk of opening up revenue classes for award bookings (at the same standard award rates). Not sure if this has been tightened up in recent times.

QF WP's get the same treatment. I have used it twice this year.
