Just saw this at the top of the VA website landing page:-

Hmmm...

Re: Velocity/Virgin websites are RUBBISH

Oh good. Take one barely functional website and break it even more

Perhaps fter three months of offering status earning on 15% discounted reward seats, Velocity's points liability has been wiped out, and there is no longer any need offer bookings online? :p

It's quite possible, my balance currently sits at the lofty heights of 79 points ;)

Dagnamit

Just as I got my 50,000 bonus points rolled into my account, it won't let me bloody book!

Not happy.

I was trying to book a trip for my <insert milestone> birthday next year when it went on the blink. I take it as a sign :p

Maybe you should wait until the seniors card arrives so you can get a discount? ;)

Re: Velocity/Virgin websites are RUBBISH

Looks like rewards are back online - and whatever problem it was they seem to have fixed.

For those into 'expert mode' bookings, that's been 'fixed' as well. :-|

did you manage to book for yon <milestone>?

Re: Velocity/Virgin websites are RUBBISH

did you manage to book for yon ?

Nope. Couldn't make it work.

Although others going with me did. So I am mildly irritated (edit - to clarify irritated by fellow travellers being up in J, while I'll be slumming it further back in the plane, and it's my birthday :) ).
