Looks likely Regional Express will add a new inter-state route from Lismore to Brisbane, to enable Rex to service the Brisbane to Maryborough route announced last week.

Rex Spreads their Wings in Queensland​

Rex will commence services from Brisbane Airport on Sunday 7 October 2007 with a new service to Maryborough. A total of 36 flights per week will be operated with first flights departing Maryborough Airport early each

weekday morning. Three return services will operate weekdays enabling both Brisbane and Maryborough residents to spend a full day at their destination. Services will operate Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons and evenings.​

New services between Brisbane and Lismore (from $59) will also operate each Saturday from the 13​

th October 2007, which also provides a new link between Sydney and Brisbane via Lismore with fares from $174 each way.​

Changes to Rex Flyer & Rex Lounge Memberships​

Effective 01 August, a number of changes have come into effect for both Rex Flyer and Rex Lounge Memberships.​

Rex Flyer​

With an unchanged membership fee of $27.50, Rex Flyer will now become a 3yr membership.​

Existing members will be given the first 3yr term from 01 August 2007 – 01 August 2010 without additional charge.​
