Planning to go to Rome in July and I am looking for 5 star hotel to stay for 4-5 nights for 2 adults and a 6 year old.

Thinking of staying at the Boscolo Exedra Roma (Marriott) or the Aleph Rome Hotel (by Curio - Hilton)

Boscolo Exedra Roma | Luxury 5 Star Hotel in Rome, Italy. Luxury hotel in Rome. 5 Star Hotel Spa Rome Centre. -

or

Aleph Rome Hotel - Curio Collection by Hilton

Has anyone stayed at any of these properties? Thoughts or recommendations welcome.

We stayed at the Palazzo Navona hotel - very impressed. Almost backs onto the Parthenon. Walking distance to Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps. Great rooftop bar. Good local amenity.

While NOT 5 star, we always stay at the Hotel Regno. It is a 5 minute stroll from the Trevi and reasonably central for walking everywhere else.

In the past we have stayed at Albergo del Senato which is opposite the Pantheon. Although it has a three star rating, it punches well above this IMO. It is strictly not a luxury hotel but is certainly very comfortable.

We enjoyed Villa Spalletti Trivelli - fits the bill for your criteria of central location and room for the son.

You can see photos here Culture, Cuisine and Chasing the Lights

New bonus - It's a SLH property which will start to earn Hyatt points later this year.
