For the last 3 nights in Broken Hill I was put up here.An old hotel renovated in the late 30s.It was comfortable but not great.
.
.
Nice deep bath-
.
,
The fridge was in the wardrobe making it very difficult to access the hanging space and safe. Also on a government rate the view is not considered important.
.
.
My rate included breakfast so I did partake.Got to get there early as service quite slow.only had the one cooked dish but brekkie took 45 minutes.Asked for a breakfast stack but was told they didn't have the ingredients yet they could make this fried mixture supposedly on Turkish bread with the same ingredients-
.
The second day I ordered the eggs benedict. When presented an excuse that the chef had run out of hollandaise sauce so garlic aoli on the side-
.
The yolks were hard as well. The restaurant was closed for the first 2 nights.I did intend to eat there the last night but brekkie decided me on just getting some cheap noodles over the road. The chef is Pro Hart's son.
I preferred the Red Earth.
