Hi Velocity folks,

Just wanted to say, please give some thought to working out a competitive product to the QFF Oneworld RTW redemptions! Your virtual alliance might make this difficult, but this QFF product is pretty great for a long trip, and I'm sure this would make a lot of your customer base happy...

I think you are absolutely correct and hope that RTW redemptions is something the Velocity team can work towards.
Interestingly VA do offer RTW revenue fares (VA, SQ,MI or VA,EY) and Circle Pacific (VA, SQ and MI)

I'm trying to find the Specials page where I found the RTW & Circle Pacific PF is talking about but am not having any luck - they were on the same page complete with suggested routings. I think it was the specials page on the VFF site but it is gone.

I had such a hard time trying to book my Circle Pacific fare with either VA or SQ (I wanted to fly SYD - LAX - NRT - SIN - SYD) & I was willing to give them cold hard cash for it.

Yeah, an RTW with VA/EY would be perfect for me! Assuming fare rules allowed at least one side trip from AUH and back, otherwise you would be pretty stuck with visiting the US and the UAE, wouldn't really be able to get anywhere else.

erkpod, I seem to recall they pretty much hid the details for those fares from day 1, didn't they? Really only accessible through travel agents or maybe the call centre, for some bizarre reason?

Cheers,

Danny

The links are from the Agents and Corporate bookings tab on the main VA website.
Route suggestions would be a fantastic addition to the fares pages.

I started a thread a while ago now to highlight my experiences with booking my Circle Pacific fare. I found the fare on the Airline Special Offers page on the VFF site but at the moment, the RTW/Circle Pacific info is not on that page. Maybe (hopefully!) they will be back when the current offers expire. I think that a RTW/Circle Pacific fare & all of the terms & conditions are worthy of a page of its own regardless of what is going on elsewhere on the site.

Good timing - I'm about to start looking at these again.

And yes, would love redemption RTWs!
