RTW trip with road bikes

We are planning on booking a RTW fare with star alliance - travelling to Barcelona, Montreal, and Bangkok and flying with Singapore, Air Canada and Thai. We are hoping to travel light sharing one 20kg suitcase but taking 2 road bikes. Is it possible to work out just how much the bikes will cost I have checked the individual airlines - it appears confusing with different costing for each airline. Does anyone have any suggestions. Would be good to know what we are in for before leaving.
