Russia in December!

Hi All,

I'm looking for some advice for my trip to Russia at the end of the year, in particular Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

We're spending 3 nights in Moscow and 2 nights in Saint Petersburg, and I'm wondering whether anyone has any recommendations on what neighbourhoods to stay in at each place?

Being that it will be somewhere around -5 to -10 deg outside :shock: central location with convenience of access to a metro station is really the main requirement, but like anywhere, somewhere which is lively at night would also be good!

Hi Trent, I did these 2 cities the same time in 2013- we stayed at the below hotels. Both were great locations.

Moscow Hotels: InterContinental Moscow - Tverskaya Hotel in Moscow, Russian Federation

The armoury museum in st petersburg is a must.
