Saudia from MNL to YYz?

For my next trip to North America I already have my RETURN trip back to Oz booked with awards.

I'm just wondering to get to Toronto, you can get a one way J ticket with Saudia from MNL to YYZ (Toronto) for about 2100 AUD.

Taking into account a repositioning flight and the fact that MNL is amongst the worst airports in the world, is this a good deal?

Saudia are ok to fly with but only you can determine if it’s good value or not. I don’t mind MNL either but I can see how people hate it and avoid it.
Are there any other ports close to Toronto that are cheaper to fly to and are you flexible with airlines, transit ports etc?

Just check which SV hubs you transit through, MNL-JED seems to use all 787-9s, which I've had good experience with on SV to ICN. MNL-RUH uses 777-300s, which are all 2-2-2 in business, with the exception of the 77Z type that has F & J (I think these are mainly used on NA/EU routes).

If you do MNL-JED-YYZ instead of MNL-RUH-JED-YYZ it could be good. My most memorable airline breakfast was SV's pancakes. Dry airline too, so you've have to subsist on coffee and dates.

$2100 seems kind of steep for OW, especially from Southeast Asia, but if you're already nesting this trip in another return you might not be keen on buying another return, I get it.

It’s actually pretty good from Asia to NA one way.
I’ve been looking at similar recently and most are around $2800-4k
QR are around $2800 CGK-DOH-JFK which appealed to me but that SV price is ok provided you get the 787’s obviously

It's via JED only. A stopover is an additional 240 AUD I doubt I will have the time.

Food was very good and I found the seats comfortable and got plenty of sleep.
I guess you have to factor in the cost of getting to MNL and connection times there, stop overs etc
