How does the status credit earn on OW airlines work?

If you do a DONE4, do you get full business SC earn on all OW airlines? (BA, CX, AA?)

Or is there a flat rate economy SC earn, even for First/Business round the world?

What about the 50% mileage bonus for Gold QFF?

I'm assuming you get full SC earn on qantas.

thanks

Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

You get SC's earning in line with those for FF points as published in this table from the Qantas frequent Flyer T&C's: Airline Earning Table

So Business travel on a DONEx earns points & SC's as for J travel.

You get your status bonus in line with the point earning; but only on QF, BA, AA & (I believe) JQ. Earn 125 points on a BA flight and a QF SG will get an additional 63 point status bonus.

Note that with international economy class travel only Discount Economy SC's (if any) are earned for a class other than Y.

SC earn is the same for all one world airlines, with the exception that QF domestic australian economy has a few more booking classes included as full economy. SC earn is based on distance (1 of 10 zones) and class (first, business, full economy, discounted economy).

Note that if business is unavailable then you drop down to economy. One one-class American Eagle flights this uses booking class Y, so full economy SC earn. In other situations (eg D booking class is sold out) the relevant booking class is L, so discount economy SC earn.

In North America, domestic 2-class flights on AA book into first (A booking class), so first SC earn.

When travelling on any 2 class AA flights, that is where there is no business class, just first and economy, you can book into first class. You will earn first class SC's and cabin bonus.
If you end up travelling on all economy AA flights, you will earn economy SC's. Also, ensure the TA books you into Y class and not L (discount economy) so you get full economy SC's.
I found this thread on FT very useful (plus lots of help from Dave Noble and NM). This link contains the rules for the different types of fares including oneworld explorer. I found this also very useful.
