I booked an earlybird special from PER > SIN > LHR return.

It is in class O.

Can anyone confirm if this fare earns status credits in discount economy in Qantas?

It does earn some status credits. It does not earn full status credits. Make sure your calculations take that into account.

Yes, there is a difference in earning between discount and full economy, however it appears that he already knew that....by indicating in his question the connection between O class, discount economy and status credits...seems he was more concerned as to whether O class earned any SC's

yes i am aware discount SC earn is 50% and have taken that into consideration when doing the calculations

i was just concered that O class may not earn SC at all!
