Scenic tour of DFW in a Dreamliner!

I am currently on the ground sitting aboard the QF7 flight that left on 8/1/24. Great flight and arrived ar DFW on time…almost 40 minutes ago. Apparently the bay we are due to berth at has a very late plane in it. After sitting in one holding area for 20 minutes the captain was told he couldn’t stay there any longer and we had to go for a taxi around the airport! Never been for a scenic drive in a Dreamliner before!

Pretty common at DFW unfortunately. Longest taxi/hold I had was 60 minutes arriving on QF21.

Yeah DFW can get fun.. specially at the D gates. Not the best after 15+ hours in the air.

Had the same sort of thing happen at LAX before.
Came in on QF15 from BNE. A ground handling agent (I think swissport) had left our gate blocked with cars and other equipment and we spent 30 mins looping around the then TBIT satellite construction site in a 747 waiting for them to come move their stuff.
