Hi All
What are peoples thoughts / experiences on seat 51K Syd to LAX on the 380?
Its been a while, but I do recall having the seat years ago and it suited me well. I could put my hand luggage on the floor and stretch the legs out onto it.
Positives - extra leg room and spacious.
Negatives - bassinet row so a small child could be allocated. Possible to get bumped due to child I suppose.
Is the bassinet used more often than not so too much of a risk, or is it not that bad if there is a bassinet there.
Any other good seats to consider - all the "extra legroom seats" have gone, so no good there.
Disappointed to see that no economy upper deck any more on this flight in Jan, even though my colleague did this leg a few weeks ago and got upstairs so I suspect they will have the refurbed airframes by Jan.
Thanks XD

good choice, the only other thing to consider which you haven't mentioned is that the entertainment screen I think is smaller as it is in the seat arm-rest as opposed to the seat back in front of you. Not sure if the seats are also a bit narrower due to the screen in armrest

Since there's a wall in front of you, it's a bit harder to stretch your legs out. The armrests are also fixed, so you can't lie down across the row of 3 seats. Other than that, it's a good option!
