Saturday 26 February 2022 sees DL40, the 1120 hours SYD - LAX having only 30 whY passengers in the 190 seat basic economy cabin.
Cargo would bring in some A$ and maybe the incoming flight had more users and freight, but to have fewer than a sixth of available seats occupied is extremely low.
Yet the USA welcomes Australians, and us them (although we only 'opened up' very recently, and it takes a while for intentions to translate into bookings).
