I'm travelling back on QF6 from SIN-SYD on Friday night.

I can't seem to find the correct seat map for this flight. When I go to select my seat in my booking, Y starts at row 38, but none of the seatguru seat maps have Y starting from that position.

Any ideas?

The qantas source has the seat map as per post #2, including basic indications of good and bad seats.

Which seat is the best on QF 6 in J, 1A/B, 4E or 16K? I have never flown in Zone A (nose).

I flew 4A and upper deck [row in front of 16]A last year. I like the upper deck and would suggest row 16. But if you haven't done zone A then go for it.

If solo then 4E - no-one has to climb over anyone to access the aisle in 4E / 4F.

As long as you stay out of the 2-3-2 config in rows 23/24 (zone B), it should be fine.

My husband, daughter (3yo) and I are probably flying QF6 in June. We were thinking this area would probably be the best for us as we would be sitting all together. Is this correct or should I be selecting different seats.

Which row is recommended out of row 23 and 24?

Seatguru and seatexpert are not very reliable sources of information. Best avoided IMO.
