Hi,

Just booked HKT-SYD on V Australia in Business. Selected seats 1H & K. Can anyone advise why Seatguru describes 1K as having restricted legroom?

I booked the product based on the flatbed so am a little confused as to how this seat can have restricted legroom.

1A/C are occupied, so perhaps we should change to row 2?

Seatguru has it wrong. As you rightfully describe it is a flat bed and 1K fully extends like every other seat in the cabin and is not impeded in any way. Hope you enjoy your flight.

Thanks CrazyDave98. Comparatively it is a far superior product for the same price of Jet*.

You can see the V Australia J product is far superior to the StarClass product just looking at the respective websites.

Though I see you’re a WP, so it depends how much you value the F lounge access you’d get in SYD before your flight ;)

And then what the points/SC difference is :p

Indeed. We're flying Jet* SYD-HKT for the F lounge and status credits. We were going to burn 120,000 points and fly back on BA in Club World from BKK, but decided those points were better used for SYD-LHR upgrades next August. I wasn't going to gain SCs on that leg, so I'm happy to forfeit them for a superior product. I'm quite excited about the VA leg. Will be a perfect way to come home.
