Secret Jetstar Route - Anyone notice anything wrong with this story?

Maybe the lack of crocodiles confused them.

Or perhaps to advice about avoiding SYD on Friday night offers a clue. Bit silly really, as a bustees expense surely the extra cost of a direct flight can be justified. (assuming such flight exists)

Yah I thought of that, but Jetstar don't fly to Alice Springs... At all... from anywhere.

As for the crocs - ha! we're proud of the NT News... best No News rag there is... at least they aren't ashamed of what they are!

I had a fun filled 6 months living in the territory many years ago. Not bagging the NT news.

Maybe they (jetstar that is) are including that jetstar subsidiary qantas in they little story.

,I think it was written by Jetstar as a press release, the
Jetstar is celebrating its birthday with cheap airfares
is a giveaway,I suspect some poor sod in Jestar PR was told to write something about this guy and they didn't even bother to check their facts before submitting it,I'm not surprised though that NT News didn't bother checking the facts either.
This is what happens when newspapers run adverts as real news, serves them right.
I hope Media Watch use this ,it's a classic.
Cheers

I think the clue is in the second line "But that's easier than his old routine - flying from Melbourne to Darwin.". If it's a fairly recent change to ASP, this guy could still have "notched up more kilometres than any other customer".

"Jetstar said the expatriate Territorian has notched up more kilometres than any other customer.". Really? I find that hard to believe.

And yes, I wonder who stuffed up the press release-quasi human interest story.

Me thinks Clive is a bit of a legend in his own lunch box.

Love his tips "get some sleep if it's a night flight" - pure genius that one!

How does one sleep on an A320 crammed full of 180 pax with it's seats locked upright & bugger all leg room??? I don't think this guy's ever done JQ677 the redeye DRW/MEL with comments like that.

How could he possibly be Australia's "longest distance" commuter with a 2&1/2 to 3 hour flight MEL/ASP? What about that guy on AFF that does either KTA or PHE/PER/MEL/WGA every three weeks?

Don't know about an A320 but I have no problems sleeping on a 737. All that is needed is a little tiredness and willingness to sleep.

Sound too easy? Sorry. I can sleep on a bus, train, car, ship, plane and I can even sleep at my desk at work surprising my boss.
