Hi,

I'v recently made a booking for a QF12 A380 flight in July next year. There are 3 of us flying on a single booking, two of us have silver status now but won't by the time we fly next year

We were able to select 80A, 80K and 71D and don't mind sitting away from each other since its the return flight after a holiday and we would rather try and sleep with the extra legroom

What are the odds of Qantas seeing that 3 people on 1 booking are scattered all over the cabbin and reallocating us to a single row? I know there are lots of stories about people who select A and C seats with the hope of B being empty before being put back together.

On another topic would someone hazard a guess as to whether QF7/8 in June next year will be operated by revamped 747's (with no premium economy being sold as standard economy)?

Don't quite follow what you are asking in relation to QF7/8. The plan for the reconfigured a/c is for no first, but it will still have business, premium economy and economy and I do believe that 7/8 is one of the first routes that will see this configuration.

The first refit is off today to LAX ex BNE which is the first route to be covered, QF7/8 is also a no brainer for the refit given all the ERs are getting it as the babies of the jumbo fleet and they are the only ones that can do it. Given it's taken 9 weeks for the first to be done, it will take a while for it to spread across the fleet however by June it's possible to see the DFW route being flown with this equipment. QFlate is two and a half hours late this morning, as an aside ;).
