I am flying SYD - DFW - MCO this weekend and had seat 61G allocated to me.
When i access my booking on Qantas.com I can no longer see the seat allocation.

Has this happened to anyone else? What can I do about it. I'm after the extra leg room as I'm 6' 3" and the normal seats are too cramped for this flight.

Cheers

Same thing has happed to me for an October flight.I've bought the exit row seats for me and the missus 36 a and b, (80,000 points return) as I am also 6'3".I gave Qantas a call and they tell me it is a ok.Perhaps you should call them also.

61G does not exit on the 744ER's.

Maybe you meant 51G? (Bulkhead)

In any case, try for row 36 at the airport. ;)

(When are you travelling? [-]Tomorrow or[/-] Saturday?)

That flight is showing:
Code:
Flight Depart Arrive Aircraft Available Classes

QF 7 SYD DFW 744 J1 C1 D0 I0 W1 R0 T0 Y9 B9 K6 M2 L0 V2 S0 N0 Q0 O0
       30/07/11 1:25 PM 30/07/11 1:50 PM
Almost every Business class seat is showing allocated and 51G "blocked", but not allocated. I think you are being moved forward.

I would say at T-36 and T-24 try to get a seat in rows 36-39

Sometimes when you go in the manage your booking tab and select seats for different sectors your confirmed seat disappears but when you ring QF they should be able to give it back to you.

Enjoy the heat over there!

Same thing happened to me about 3 weeks ago - its all fine as all QF sectors I flew I was in the seats I selected (can't choose AA seats anyway). In my case the selected seats "magically" appeared in the bookings once I flew the first sector.
