Hi All,

First trip as a Velocity Gold Member, I checked in online to find rows 1 & 2 as PE and not selectable, however row three was able to select, including ABC DEF. I was able to select 2A & C. Does this mean that I'm going to be seated in PE with nobody sitting in between us? Has anyone else had any experience with selecting PE seats online on a basic ticket?

DJ749 MEL-OOL Sat 6th March.

As I said, first time in a while on DJ, so I could be asking a really obvious question! However as a QFF Plat I'm not use to receiving upgrades.

Thanks,

LR.

Depends what aircraft you are on.
A lot of the DJ fleet are reconfiguring and the first two rows are classified as PE but row 3 isn't.
I took a recent trip to Darwin and was told I could move to row 3 to sleep on an overnight flight with three seats to myself, but I was not able to sit in rows 1 and 2.
Might also be a rogue aircraft with no PE seating.
Make sure you report back and let us all know!

Went to check-in (after getting lost finding the check-in) and check-in agent put a seat block in the middle row. He explained to me that row 3 is now classified as Y, with the armrest in the middle seat glued back. (GOLD members have first dips on these, as there is extra legroom) Absoutley packed onboard past row 4. PE was empty with one paying passenger.
