We stayed at Siloso Beach Resort (wife and 2 late teen kids). Rooms very basic but location, resort pool area and decent complimentary breakfast were all great.
We stayed four nights and this was probably just enough. We did a day at Universal and also bought an activity pass that was really good value. It included a Segway tour, luge and cable car, museum access and many others attractions. There are a number of good places to eat throughout the casino and mall area and a number further down near the mono rail station.
very easy to get back into city if you need to.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and well worth the visit for a few days.

Movenpick is a beautiful hotel, will def recommend it, of course as mentioned previously universal is a must, go to the sea aquarium, it is amazing, you can even do a swim with the Sharks tank. Would stay about 4 days

Been to the W. Best pool on Singapore I would say. But it's far from everything else on Sentosa. There is a shuttle, but I wouldn't stay there with kids anyway, it's not really a kid place.

Stayed at the Shangri La which was absolutely superb but expensive....rooms were modern and very clean and the breakfasts and dinners were of a very high quality with plenty of variety....helps to do including the aquarium,Universal, and a large variety of other rides and activities to keep the kids fully occupied and so a minimum of 4 days but we stayed with our grandkids for 10 days and it wS just superb...And the pool and beach at the Shangri La are both great

x2 for Shangri La. At the other end of the island, but closer to the attractions. I'd say 4-5 days should be enough. Visit the aquarium, universal studios on the island. It's right on the beach, with a short walk to siloso beach, and has a great pool with a kids pool (water slide, water buckets etc.). The food was great, massive breakfast buffet, with a kids area (more for smaller kids). See the zoo, it also has a good water park, great to get out of the stifling heat. Short ride into town, with a large shopping mall just across the bridge (can get the cable car). Great service, good size rooms (for Singapore!). I had adjoining rooms, travelling with partner and 3 kids.

Cheers for all the info
