Service desk return at Domestic Lounge?

Domestic J Lounge Melbourne this afternoon, there was a staff member assisting passengers.

Is that a sign that the service desks are coming back? :) :D
Nobody was there yesterday when I went through. Indeed the "door agent" was distracted helping someone, so another agent came and ushered a few of us waiting in (waived through, no scanning of BP's but she did visually check for what it's worth) which was proactive and meant we were not waiting too long (about 30 seconds).

She may have been at the "service desk" inside the lounge, but I doubt it. I passed by several times and before exit, and was empty.

Perhaps a similar example of a roving agent or staff member taking pax into the desk to assist, rather than at the entry.

Ah. You might be right. There was a flight delay yesterday. And they were paging passengers to go to the front desk. The gate agent was busy as well when I walked in.

There was a second I thought that they would bring back the service desk in J Lounge🤣🤣
