LIkely only half of the real story has been told.
It seems from that article that the pilot was not back in the cabin. So far, unusually, there is still no reference to anyone who does not back the pax.
"All the eyewitness reports seem to back her story, and the only “source” who seems to have made a claim regarding the derogatory term was the pilot, who was presumably told that by the flight attendant:"

That's disgusting.
Is that all the story though?
Exactly my question raised in post #3
Often the person making the loudest noise has the most to hide.
snip ... Wondering why you keep insinuating guilt on the passenger's part.
The carrier has apologised to the PAX and offerred them a $250 voucher.
When that was knocked back the carrier then offerred cash.
That would indicate the FA indeed was having a bad day (which likely became much worse).
One consistent in these stories.. its always US major carriers involved
Plenty of similar stories about Chinese carriers.
The stories on China are of poorly behaving passengers.
Not always.

The cash giveaway Is quite telling of AA's guilt of poor customer service.
I have yet to travel on AA ( bit of a Southwest fan myself) ...... Are the staff really rude on AA as many people make out or is the company's reputation on poor customer service blown up somewhat ?
