Hi, I'm just a new kid on the block and would like to respond to the question of Virgin vs Qantas. I have been flying on International Airlines for 54 years and used to travel on Qantas when Ansett was still with us. At that time I decided that I would never travel on Qantas "un Australian", but I find that Qantas just does not have what other airlines do. Check out Singapore Airlines on my website [redacted].
In my personal view the best airlines are in this order. Singapore, Emirates and Cathay.
My wife flew on Virgin and said that it was a fun trip, I have never been on Virgin, but I am sure that they are very good, Branson is good. Someone once told me what QANTAS stands for, but I would not repeat it here.
