Just had our 3rd stay at the Hampton Inn at West Bar Sheffield - within walking distance to the Town Centre and as a major city there are loads of shops/restaurants etc. The hotel itself was a little more run down than previous but very good value and includes a full breakfast. Staff are pretty good too. About a 30 minute drive from the Peak District which is beautiful. Sheffield itself is busy and very much a student meeting place as 3 universities there. Our daughter lives in Sheffield hence the three visits as she cannot afford to come home often.
