Silly itinerary through-check question

I have a silly itinerary (can still be cancelled at negligible expense) consisting of the following

Ticket #1
HND-SIN JL (first flight)
KUL-MEL MH (third flight)

Ticket #2
SIN-KUL MH (second flight)

Ticket #3
MEL-SYD QF (fourth flight)

Can I through check my bags at HND to SYD when I check in for my first flight? JAL's page seems to say so, although I can't imagine they deal with too many idiots like me.

Each transit stop is only ~2 hours

No it didn't need to be this complicated, yes I am descending into madness as a frequent flyer

Of course, happy to go landside at MEL and check in again. No big deal
Flying into SIN has always been pain-free for me, so probably could retrieve my bags there and go to MH check in gate with just enough time to spare

really really really do NOT want to leave KUL airside and check in again

If QF flight leaves from domestic terminal, you will have to collect bags at MEL.

Through check to MEL is ok?

MEL is the entry point to AU and will have to go through customs

Given they are all OW carriers there is a possibility HND———MEL can happen and will largely depend on the agent at HND but I have no relevant experience to advise certainty that they will allow..
