PS to SG Question - Short by 10 points before next trip

Edited because I'm a dope. I found the answer I needed for my first question.

I do have another question though.

It looks like I will be 10 SC short of reaching SG. I have a business class trip booked to London in a few weeks time which will obviously take me up to SG level.

Will I earn 25% extra points for the entire flight, or is there some sort of pro-rata method to let me earn 50% extra on some of the flight?

Personally I think it's doubtful, but it is disappointing if that's the case.

Thanks in advance!

Saw you got your answer that you only need four QF segments per membership year. Congrats on achieving SG level.

You will start to get the status bonus for points on the first flight after you achieve the level.

I'm about to hit Silver followed very closely by Gold ( a few KUPPs in the US), but I'm unsure about the 25% bonus points I get when I reach Silver and the 50% bonus when I reach Gold. Does that bonus only apply to miles flown or do you get bonus status credits as well?
eg. SIN-LHR in discount economy = 40 SC, do I get an extra 10 SC if I'm Silver?

Thanks in advance but I couldn't find a clear explanation anywhere.

Miles only - although to requalify once you reach a tier, the SC's required are slightly less (eg 350 qualify, 300 retain for silver; 700 qualify, 600 retain for gold etc).

Also note the bonus is only on QF/BA/JQ/AA flights that earn miles.
