SIN DO XII, 16 - 20 Jan 2014

Hey AFF people,

I believe some of you may know about the Annual SIN DO hosted by a few Flyertalk members in January each year. For those not in the know, its a yearly gathering of frequent flyers from all over the world during a selected weekend in January. We had the SIN DO XI earlier this year and it was a rounding success.

For this coming SIN DO XII, I sat down with Flyertalker bschaff1to discuss how we could make 2014 even more successful than 2013. Be rest assured we have interesting activities lined up for our attendees. As a teaser, we are honored to potentially have a major airline company sponsoring some activities during this DO.

I understand that some of you guys would not have ventured into Flyertalk, so i am happy to record your attendance both here and on Flyertalk.

I will post a detailed event list in the coming months for prospective attendees.

Based on the history of the DO, most attendees stay at the Conrad, Hilton and the Grand Hyatt, so these locations can be considered if you decidedly want to be in the central of all the activities.

I am looking to attend.

Just waiting for Qantas to release specials ex-SIN for New Year. Will more than likely stay in Geylang again as the budget does not look like stretching too far as I will spend ~10 days in Thailand Christmas/New Year.

Yeah I would love to attend one of the SIN DO's. Undecided though at this stage....

I've attended three of these and loved them. Hope to attend next year's but that will depend on work.

Flyertalk - Singapore Airlines SIN DO XII 2014 Activity


Tentative Programme is as followed


Arrival at Singapore Airlines Training Centre
Meet at SIA Training Centre Lobby by Staff of Singapore Airlines
Corporate Presentation by SIA VP Public Affairs, Nick Ionides, followed by Q&A
Tour of Cabin Crew Mock-ups
Tour of Safety Training Hall / Safety Training Pool
End of Tour


Buses should be provided (at a cost) and the tour would take approximately 2 - 2.5 hours.


Attire is smart casual. Flip Flops are not to be worn.


Limited Spaces are available. Please check this thread regularly for updates.


As of current, 35 Spaces are available for this very special event. Registration will start shortly.
