Singapore Airlines Velocity Redemption no Lounge Access?

Hi,

I am looking at booking a Singapore. Airlines Business Class flight using Velocity points since it is now many points less to book a redemption flight directly with Velocity since KrisFlyer increased the points to use that program.

I can find Buisness class reward seat on the Virgin site but it says when you click on it to see what it comes with that there is an X where it says lounge access. Does that mean I won't be able to Access the Singapore lounges?

Also is seat selection available straight away for a Velocity Singapore Air redemption?

I also would like to know this. I'd say its an error with the webpage. Pretty sure rewards bookings include lounge access when booked through codeshare partners.

Anyone know for sure?

I can confirm you will have full access to lounges. VA will also send you SQ PNR in the email. With that, you can go to SQ website to select seats and book meals.
