Quick question. I am flying Singapore / Silkair Domestic later in the year. My booking summary on the Singapore Airlines website says I have a 20kg allowance, but my eticket says 30kg. I am not entitled to any bonus allowances via Velocity, KrisFlyer, etc.

Which is right? I had assumed I am only entitled to 20kg, but the 30kg is very welcome.

Thoughts?

Tah muchly!

I would go to the SQ website and have a look at what that says. I suspect the 20kg is right. However, if you were to turn up at the airport, with an eticket issued by SQ stating 30kg then you'd have a good argument to be allowed that.

If the eticket receipt you have is issued by a travel agent then I'd be more suspect.

The E-Ticket is issued by SQ out of Adelaide, even though it was purchased by Jetset. I have contacted SQ's social media people, and they are working on it.

Jill Ng from [email protected] got back to me. I still don't know how we got 30kg as we are flying Y, (Y @AU1S $ M1), but the 30kg was not a misprint. Gotta be happy with that. :D:D I will be taking a copy of that email and all e-tickets at checkin, as I am sure the outsourced checkin staff at DRW and MUC are going to be looking like this
