I have submitted my status match request using my Finnair Gold status that finishes up at the end of the year 
Hopefully this will lead to getting Miles & More Senator status.
That would mean having Star Alliance Gold but also being able to redeem for Swiss First Class.
Maybe a visit to the Lufthansa FCT Frankfurt along with the Swiss first class lounges in Zurich 
hopefully just after the LHR lounge crawl
