So how does an airport celebrate continous QF service for almost 3 decades?

QF news from late last week:

QantasLink today marked 29 years of serving the Bundaberg region.

The Executive Manager of QantasLink, Mr Narendra Kumar, said the airline, and the Qantas Group, had been proudly associated with Bundaberg since 7 December 1981.

“We have maintained continuous, high quality air services to Bundaberg throughout this period, and have responded proactively to meet the needs of the community by adding capacity and upgrading aircraft size over the years, ensuring the region has had every opportunity to grow and prosper,” Mr Kumar said.

“Today, we operate 56 return services each week between Bundaberg and Brisbane, and launched our new flagship 74-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft on the route in January 2008. The Q400 now operates nearly half of all services each week.....
And then I noticed this which was a fairly typical way an airport celebrates anything:

Tickets issued on / after: 16 December 2010
Travel commenced on / after: 01 January 2011

Bundaberg

Port / Tax code BDB/QR(Head Tax)

New adult amount (GST exclusive) $11.30
Old adult amount (GST exclusive) $8.00
New child amount (GST exclusive) $11.30
Old child amount (GST exclusive) $8.00

This is a good idea. I will have to celebrate my next birthday with an income boost of 40%. I'm sure the boss will be OK with it.

Seems a little odd to make a point of celebrating 29 years, 30 I guess would be a better number, and upwards beyond there, like 50, but 29? Perhaps they’ll be pulling out shortly.

Just proves that dear old QF is a lady and like all ladies she stops counting her age after 29.

Maybe the increased tax is going to improve the self-serve baggage collection off the cart, last time I was in BDB.
