Hi Everyone,

Long time reader of this and other loyalty program content.

Just about to begin work as a Consultant, so looking forward to travelling a ton and trying to make the most out of it!

Thanks for all the great info posted on here, I spend far too much time browsing the forums and trying to master the various loyalty programs

Look forward to getting to know you all!

Jon

Hiya Jon,

Saw your info on the hotel thread, good job. I did something similar recently to help me see what I was doing. Time consuming for sure reading through loyalty programmes etc and they all have their little differences. I hope your research time is well rewarded.

Welcome to AFF Jonno Oon,

I used to be a consultant back in the TAA days. Every Friday afternoon in the Captains Club in Sydney and the barman knew all our names.

My boss got a letter from the Chairman of TAA one year congratulating him on being one of the top 100 flyers. The sent him a dozen bottles of wine. That was the extent of "status recogniation". Miles and SC's award flights didn;t exist then

Thanks NZflygirl! Definitely does take a bit of time, but hopefully it makes the stays more enjoyable and hopefully the summary helps a few people save some time!
I think I'm getting closer to a decision ... Head saying Accor, Heart saying SPG

Welcome aboard!

Feel free to pop on down to a MEL gathering

Thanks! That sounds like a good idea, just about to move over to MEL from PER so would be great to meet some new people!
