I remember the controversy when he cancelled the event in 2011, I wasn't going or anything but I remember tickets were still selling or something of the alikes when it was known the event was going to be cancelled due to some big name acts cancelling. From what I also remember the guy speaks like and is a turd.

Yes, though to be fair he shouts a lot and gets attention, which is what he wants. Maybe he should run an airline

AJ Maddah seems to fall into bad luck or bad blood with everyone he meets. He never seems to be able to identify the common denominator though

Who goes to these festivals? Last one I hit was the BDO '94. I remember the Smashing Pumpkins were good, but the sound mix for Urge Overkill was woefull. I'd rather go to a small club. Greatest gig I've ever seen were three BDO headliners ...who broke off and played the Syd Uni Refectory in 93: Sonic Youth, Mudhoney and Helmet. Probably greatest gig in the history of the world, really, and I was in the second row. But I digress. This Maddah is a Flappah stealin' your Moolah.
