Spam after Veda score and amex application

So I've done three free vedascore checks. The first one about 6months ago.
I applied for an amex card about two weeks week ago.

Since then I'm getting heaps of spam from an Indian credit card company with the title being "creditscore"
With my email address in the email.

Common sense says the spam is due to veda
But timing wise it says amex

What's going on here?

My guess is it's one of the three free veda checks you did. Of course, your data will be sold if you're getting the score for free!
Highly doubt it's from Amex themselves.

However, it could also be from:-
- Other network activity on your device which triggered the interest
- Third party data sites selling your information, and your email address matched the IP or cookie
- Your email provider matching amex inbound mail to third party data
- Pure luck

Just about every site you visit on the internet is collecting and SELLING your data.

Yep I got spammed a few times after getting free Veda score,

Thankful its slowed down a bit in the past month or so, or maybe everyone took a holiday.
