Hi
I receive a email from what appeared to be Qantas this afternoon that is SPAM. Be warned people, its asking for your credit card details, full name, employment, addresses.

Apart from the misspellings and poor grammar, the email looks pretty much like Qantas ones, but on closer inspection include elements from a number of different emails/offers.

Just a warning.

Sadly not much they can do about it..
Simple lesson is to never follow a link or open an attachment on most emails.

Exceptions include those from known senders where it contains validated information (eg. Ff numbers, account numbers etc).

It is too easy to send a spam email.

Dear John,

...

I have tried to tell Qantas but they don't seem to want to know.

Oh well.

I sent Qantas a DM on twitter and got a thank you response - I noticed it mainly because it went to another mailbox that I use and then I saw the spelling errors but a lot of looked like a cut and paste from other Qantas emails

I have had a couple of them. I copied the email into Qantas facebook page about six weeks ago and they got back to me confirming it was a scam. It starts similar to...Survey Invitation - Earn up to 50000 Bonus Qantas points and 95AUD and is on what looks to be the QFF page - Looks legit...but was too good to be true.

I got it as well, initially thought it was legit because we had just travelled but when it started asking for C/C details I thought it was a scam and dumped it. Got a similar one from "Woolworths" today with a $ 50 card offer,
