Just saw this on the Amex website, for anyone interested.
The specials are best value on J and F (compared to SQ.com)
eg SYD-SIN return J about $700 cheaper, F $900 cheaper, R $40 cheaper (not a typo).

Whilst some Y fares are cheap, they are completely restricted & non-mileage accruable nor upgradeable.
