So I am flying MEL-OOL in J with my wife on Tuesday, which happens to be Valentines Day.

While we don't really celebrate Valentine's Day I thought it would be nice to maybe have a card (or a flower) on her seat upon boarding.

Before I call Velocity tomorrow does anyone have any experience in asking special requests?

I fully expect a "Sorry it can't be done" but am hoping otherwise.

Thanks

I would speak to ground crew before the aircraft arrives at the gate. They should be able to pass the item over to the next crew to be placed on the seat during the turnaround. However, if you wanted Virgin to supply the item, that would have to be organised earlier over the phone. Good luck and hope it all works out!

playing the devils advocate here. where will she store the flower at take off? In the overhead? maybe at the destination would be a better idea.
