Looking at a booking for a family member which involves CDG-SIN on SQ 336 arriving 06.50 and SIN-MEL on SQ207 departing 07.45.

If SQ 336 is running late do you think they'd hold SQ207, and if so for how long?

Is family member some VIP who would warrant holding a complete flight? I would severely doubt it - probably accomodate said family member on a later flt that day if space permits.

+1 for CE's response. The only time I've been on an SQ flight that was held was a few months ago and there were 25-30 kids connecting through SIN back to ADL and their incoming SQ flight was late. Wouldn't think SQ would hold the flight for just 1 pax regardless of class flown.

No chance with SQ 217 departing three hours later .

Not too much of a risk though as Europe morning arrivals often get in early.

Our last 2 flights Sin - Per on SQ, 2013 & 2015, were delayed as they were "waiting for connecting passengers". The delays were both over 30 minutes.
