Max 12 month stay means you could nest some cheap return fares back home originating in Europe. Most people will probably use this fare to get to Europe and go elsewhere, but if planning to do Copenhagen for the first time be aware it’s almost as expensive as Switzerland.

In the example linked, it shows Scoot operating one of the legs (Scoot biz) but I’m pretty sure you’d be able to choose all SQ metal if you really wanted to.

Can anyone see any availability left with these airfares? Ideally in mid or early Jan or as late as possible in March?

I was thinking, as OP suggested, trying to leverage this fare with a return fare back from Europe given the 12 month return date option but struggling to see anything.

Yep. Not available every day, but there are still some good deals.



You can also fly to/from Paris (instead of Copenhagen, or as an open jaw) for a similar price.

Thanks Matt. Will check out Google Flights. Was having trouble seeing anything but I can now see the option you posted above although I think to 12 Jan option you posted has gone.

No set final destination really. Always happy to take advantage with SQ to Europe where possible especially if something could line up in early to mid Jan (which is looking unlikely at this stage). Flexibility limited by proximity to school holidays.

Of course getting to BKK in Jan is a challenge in itself even in Y which I would be prepared to do to reposition.

These airfares out of BKK have come up a few times. Same with Jakarta I have seen. It does seem odd positioning by SQ but happy to try to take advantage.

PS. It does seem hard to try to take advantage of the 12 month stay option.

And trying to get to BKK in late Dec and Jan it seems even Y fares are ridiculous hehe.
