SQ Check in close ex PER

Hi,

I am flying with young kids ex PER on SQ, early morning departure. Online I've read check in closes 40 minutes prior to departure. I've got bags to check in as well.

Can someone please share their experience on what time should I aim for to allow enough time for bag drops/security clearance and be gate side? I was aiming to get to the airport by 5.30am for a 6.40am departure is this pushing it?

If flying with young kids you need to get there early.
Note that aircraft boarding commences about 45 minutes prior to departure and the gate typically closes 20 min prior

Get to airport at 0530 means you have 50 minutes to get to check in counter, clear check in, do security, passport control, sort out the kids with loo stop etc and walk to gate.

I suggest getting to airport T-2hrs = 0440am

Thanks @Quickstatus appreciate the advice, will aim to get early. First time flying out of PER, previously used to MEL and used to get there T-2 hrs, accounting for traffic etc.. Cheers

how long would it take for you to get to airport?
